[ Needless to say, Scotland has been inwardly ecstatic with the environment change. It all felt too familiar. A second incantation was performed earlier in the day with success, draining the Scotsman dry of energy. An enthusiastic reunion between two of his closest friends was exchanged, but he was confused as to why they were able to appear during this environmental change. He didn't, however, fuss. He rejoiced immensely-- within himself.
He's relaxing under a tree in the woods, rested upon what seems to be a tame
unicorn. That's not the only thing that has joined him, but a gold illuminating
faerie is seen curled up on Barclay's chest, sleeping soundly.
However, she stirs ever so slightly before sitting up sleepily and rubbing her eyes. Stretching her arms high into the air, she flits her wings and takes to the air to hover over the slumbering ginger and resting unicorn. With a cheeky smile, she chirps before giving Scotland a right hard tug by grabbing a handful of auburn hair and fluttering her wings upward. ]
Aye, there, man! Ye should be wakin' up nou! Ye've already slept half the dey awey!
[ Huffing at the lack of a reaction from Scotland, she yoinks on his hair again. ]
[ Grumbling, Barclay opens his eyes to see Liusaidh's gleeful face right near the tip of his nose. Grumbling, Scotland tosses over and buries his face in the snowy hair of the unicorn, rightfully named Chrisdean, and shoos at Liusaidh. ]
I dinnae feel like gettin' up jus' yet.
[ Huffing again at the now negative response, Liusaidh gives Scotland a good kick to his temple as she crosses her arms over her chest and drifts higher into the air. Cheeks puffed up entirely as they flush, she gives Scotland a good glare. ] Afta' all this time when I can finally come an' see ye, ye go on an' ignore me like that. Why, I should nae o' e'en come 'ere if yer gaun tae be so rude like that!
[ The two exchange words in Scottish Gaelic before the ear of the unicorn perks, speaking telepathically to Scotland alone, voice low and calming sounding. ]
Ae, do tell her tae quiet down.
[ Scowling darkly, Scotland rolls over and grabs Liusidh in his clutches as the faerie squeaks, chattering at him angrily. Chrisdean puffs hot air from his nostrils. ]
Politely, if ye dinnae mind, Barclay.
[ Growling, Barclay releases Liusaidh and brushes glitter off of his hand onto his kilt. He nestles against the warmth of his unicorn again as the offended faerie ascends into the air to perch upon a tree. Scotland tells her to hush in Gaelic, and a long pause occurs before Liusaidh settles down. She leans over the perch to look down at Barclay. ]
Barclay, master--
m'love--
I dinnae suppose ye missed us eny?
[ Scotland wrinkles his nose at the question.]
Af course nae.
[ A pause. ]
N-Nae too much in eny case. Dinnae get me wrong, I do jus' fine on me o--
[ And, a SQUEAL. She's known him long enough to know that this is just his way of saying she's really been missed! Fluttering down quickly and seeming to forget her tantrum earlier, she pretty much latches onto Scotland's face and gives him little kisses, causing him to protest. Scowling, Scotland grabs her by the wings and pries her off of his face, but a smile is evidently seen on his lips. ]
A'right, a'right. Calm yer chebs, love. Happy tae see ye too.
[[ ooc; so, uh, how this works. technically scotland's friends cannot really be seen by people that don't believe in them, but given the environmental change and all, i've decided they can be seen by anybody unless somebody is in utter complete denial of their existence. feel free to interact with either of them. it's given chrisdean is periwinkle text and liusidth is gold
