I don't think there's a way out down there, man.

Except The air smells musty and old down there. You know what that means, right?

Yeah, the catacombs are kind of... well they suck. [He laughs a little.] Glad to hear you made it out though. I've been lost down there myself, and it sucked.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

So... you found evidence that people were killed?

Well, the sword scars on the bones and all the blood stains are pretty conclusive.

That's...definitely unsettling to hear...

But- I'm glad to hear from you again.

I'm glad to be breathing fresh air again, so we're on the same page. Did I miss anything?

I'm unsure completely but there seems to be a heavy air around the city that's thicker than before. That feeling that someone's watching is sort of weighing on my mind.

[Her eyes are still wide at first when her feed flicks on. Slowly, they recede to their normal width. Still unease traces her face, and she chews on her lip a little while.]

Are you sure? About the bones...

[Sure, it wasn't exactly out in left field for her. She had seen so much before, sometimes it was a surprise that she wasn't completely desensitized already. It was probably a good thing she wasn't. Probably.]

I've seen enough people killed on a sword, yeah.

[Tifa looks away at that. So has she. One person in particular being a dear friend. Absentmindedly, she reaches up to touch that red band, but it's currently tucked in underneath the jacket she's sporting.]

I didn't intend it that way...

[She pauses a beat before her gaze fixes on him again.]

Are you alright?

I don't like being fenced in, but I'm fine.

But at least you made it out and are okay, right? I'm sure we'll figure out what happened here eventually.. I just hope everyone stays safe until then.

[that doesn't mean she doesn't sound at least somewhat worried by what Thomas has had to say. Why would there be murdered bodies?]

It's starting to smell less and less like a prison and more and more like a concentration camp.

[Well that isn't a pleasant idea.]

I'm not sure I like the sound of that... but if the people died from sword wounds, why monsters? The ones I've seen didn't use swords.
