Lenalee had sat there for a good hour, weighing options back and forth while her eyes fixated on the river of red that seemed at a still. The water was just loud enough in its sloshing that it would add a good stepping stone for her. But was it worth it?
Her hands touched the crystals around her ankles, a frown forming on her lips as her eyes soon scanned down to what her hands her holding. "Should I use these?" She asked to no one. Nearly two weeks before she arrived here Lenalee had a discussion with everyone on the oddity of her new Innocence. Did it take her blood to fuel it?
Eyebrows knitted as she sighed and quickly stood up while she slipped the wrap around her shoulders off of her and set it aside. No sense getting that dirty if this was going to fail. With a deep breath she summoned her Innocence from the crystals and in an instant the light from them wrapped up tight around her legs in thick boots that were a deep crimson red. With another breath to help relax herself, she stepped out on to the surface of the water, her arms held out for balance just in case something in this new world decided to work against her. "Careful.." She told herself again and took another step on the surface of the liquid. Step after step she took until she was towards the middle of the river, her nervous anticipation reaching an all time high. "N-Not so bad.."
