What: Celebrating the arrival of spring to Ruby City

The city has been bustling -- even more so the past day or so. The newly appeared villagers have been going about their business with a spring in their step. Decorations have gone up everywhere, lining the already bright and lively streets in festive decorations -- garlands of flowers and greenery, ribbons in shades of violets and pinks and yellows.
Spring is here, and spring is to be celebrated. There is music playing somewhere, just as bright and cheerful as the rest of the city. It's the sort of tune that pulls at everyone's feet, urging them into a joyful dance. The smells and sounds of food fill the air as well, since really, no celebration is complete without a decent fare of food and drink.
It's in the midst of this that the King appears, in the highest tower at the top of the castle. And even with the din and busy-ness that fills the streets, his deep and clear voice is able to be heard throughout the entire city.
"My Subjects! Spring is here. The winter has finally released its hold and the world is turning bright and green again. Let us celebrate the coming season of life and growth! Let there be music and revelry, dancing and joy, food and drink and contests of skill! Rejoice, my people. Rejoice and celebrate!"
