THE REFRESHMENTS

Long tables line the sides of the cathedral's interior, piled high with finger foods and littered with the favorite drinks of the city's residents, as well as several punchbowls in various colors and
champagne arrangements aplenty. There are smaller tables tucked off to the sides should the guests wish to sit and converse or simply rest their feet while they partake of the goodies, the lighting noticably dimmer and lending more of an air of privacy to those alcoves. What a fine place to meet up with friends... Or perhaps even get to know a new one.

There is no better way to celebrate the End of the old year and the beginning of the new year than with booze and a big bang. Yet Gilbert noticed that something with him was not quite right at the moment. Everything looked larger than him, if not huge.

"Hey, pass me the beer!" Huh, his voice sounded off. Maybe he yelled a bit too much the last few days.

Gwendolen had stopped squirming in her now too large for her gown and looked over to see the tiny boy. Did the same thing happen to him as well? The sight of him asking for beer was rather silly.
"I don't think you can have beer like you, you know"

What was that supposed to mean? He is an adult, so why couldn't he drink beer then? And that girl looked kind of ridiculous with the too large clothes. But it's a little girl and he doesn't make fun of children. "I can drink as much beer as I like!"

"Maybe so. Go ahead. Still beer is normally not acceptable for a child, except maybe if they're a ruffian of sorts"

"Who's a child?!"

"You are!"

[behaupten]

"I am not!" The moment where notices that he is indeed a child is the moment he pointed at her. And know, he isn't pleased at all. "Who did this to me?! Seriously this isn't awesome at all!"

Francis was beaming, and walked up next to the tiny version of his best friend, grinning.

"Ah...a leetle young to drink, aren't you, leetle one~?"

What. Whaat? What did he dare to call him?!

"Who the hell are you calling young? Those few centuries difference between us don't mean anything Franny!"

Francis laughed and picked the little boy up, he couldn't stand it that long. Gilbert was just so adorable~

"Have you not seen yourself today, mon ami?"

That proved that something was totally wrong and so not awesome today. He couldn't get down either. He was trapped, in Francis' arms!

"The last time I checked I was my awesome self!"

"You're still your awesome self~ Just fun sized~"

Here, have all the snuggling and huggling you can stand, because he can't get over this.

"Who is fun sized?!"

Now you got him to frown and pout. Also flailing a little.

He gives many of those 'mwah-mwah-mwah' kisses on his cheeks.

"You're even cuter when you're pouting~!"
