[A certain black haired, crabby troll emerges from the Catacombs. It had been awhile since he had shown his face in the city. In fact, he had been sent back home for the time being. Which had been nice, he guessed. Even though Karkat had gone home, as he had hoped for (never wanting to be in this city in the first place) now the city was a breath

[Dolorosa has decided that growing familiar with the area as quick as possible is probably a good idea, and this is what brings her out today to explore the area, taking in the strange architecture and taking time to memorize where everything is.

As she's wandering though, she comes across the troll child looking quite-- Well, the poor thing looked exhausted and...

Oh my. Collecting herself, she approached him, stopping just a few feet away.] Excuse me, but are you quite alright there young man?

[No reason to scare the poor dear.]

[He is a bit shocked. Just staring up at the larger troll. An adult troll. One of such that is known to attack or cull certain young trolls like him on sight. Ah shit! This was not his day was it. Keep calm Karkat. You are a cold blooded killer remember, if things get rough you can always...make a run for it. Yeah. No way he would take on a full grown troll he is not that stupid.]

[She looked just like Kanaya too. Was this and Adult Kanaya? How long was he fucking gone for?]

[She's looking quite concerned and not exactly as if she's about to attack, though she does understand how hesitant he looks. He looks so much like him though, it's kind of hard to avoid just hugging onto him and never letting go.

Approaching, she kneels to inspect him closer, but also to show she means no harm by putting herself in a vulnerable position.]

Excuse me for saying so, but you look as though you're perhaps not feeling all that well or at the very least feeling down. May I inquire as to what it is that is wrong?

[The harsh language makes her frown a little. Must be a new thing among young trolls or something, to use such crude language. What a horrible trend to get into... Still, she's looking at him inquisitively, and still concerned.]

I apologize, I'm simply a tad bit concerned for your well-being. [More like very concerned.]

Could I perhaps convince you to come along for something to eat and drink? You seem as if though you're in need of a bit of a pick me up.

[He is a little hungry now that she mentions it. Besides, his trip back to The Viel...he would delight in getting his mind off of it and it's not like this troll was about to cull him. Well, it seemed that way. In fact she seemed almost welcoming, surely she could see the subtle skin tone of candy red blood upon him. Or maybe she was just stupid.]

[First lets get that our of the way before we end up this trolls dinner or culled. Did he mention the culling? He wishes to avoid that.]

[She quite likes the candy red thank you very much, and she is politely avoiding that subject as she's sure it's not something he wants her to fuss about.]

[She smiles.] And what may I call you?

[Fuss about it and you get a never ending explanation why he is cursed with this pale blood and the red blood ocean that mocked him when he ended up in his world. How he is a mutant and yatta, yatta, yatta...it is long and it is a wise choice to leave as is.]

Karkat Vantas. [Permanent frown.]

Karkat Vantas... [She smiles a little. It's a very nice name.] Well, it is a pleasure to meet you.

[She wants to reach out and ruffle his hair, but refrains. But she's a motherlusus and he looks just like him so it's very tempting, even as she resists.

So instead she stands up gracefully, and looks down at him.]

Will you come along then? Or are you perhaps on your way to meet your friends?

Yeah...I'll come. You seem like you're not going to cull me or anything. Why are you so interested in feeding me? You're an adult troll, don't you kill ones like me?

[trolllusus]

No... Let us just say that I knew someone who taught me that there are indeed better ways for trolls to live.

[Though if one is looking closely, her expression falls a little bit from saying that and she looks sad for a moment. She just wishes she could say "know" instead of "knew". But still.

He taught her a lot more than she taught him. After collecting herself again, she motions for him to follow, so they can head back to the place she's claimed for herself.]

[Well that was a bit odd, but it seems she doesn't want to talk about it and he doesn't really care. So that's that. He follows along anyway, his stomach giving a small growl as the thought of food fills his think pan.]

I will perhaps tell you about it. But not out in the open.

[Just to be on the safe side. She feels as if she can trust him at least. Of the same hue, but with a sign to his name. Hopefully a lusus too, but she doesn't want to ask yet.

Either way, seeing him makes her happy, and she seems perhaps a bit pleased as they wander back toward her home in this place. She's really glad she picked up groceries earlier, so she can make him a quick snack because it sound like he really is hungry.]

[Though there doesn't seem to be a lot of trolls here, at least, the ones who are here seem to be just kids. She hasn't bumped into another adult yet, but... She wants to be careful is all.]
