Awesome Weekend
Bumbershoot was so rad. Jonathan Coulton = <3. Secret Gogol Bordello show sooooo amazing. I stood mere feet from Eugene and totally would've gotten a picture with him if I wasn't so worried I'd look like a crazed stalker.
Rodrigo Y Gabriela were amazing as well but I had to leave early because something told me not to miss DeVotchKa. And I'm sooooo glad I saw them. I really want to have babies with Nick's voice. Liek whoa.
Andrew Bird is great and I need to get all of his recordings. Tokyo Police Club are darling and Canadian. Kultur Shock fucking rocked my pants. There are few bands I would stand in the sun for two hours to hear. They are most definitely one of those bands. The Frames nearly brought me to tears.
I spent over $50 on McSweeney's and 826 Seattle.
I'm getting a cake.
