As of this afternoon, my sister is 70% effaced and 1 centimeter dilated. I'm distracting myself because thinking about my nephew's impending arrival will absolutely make me crawl out of my skin I'm so excited and nervous

my friend works at a parking garage downtown for this hotel, and 80% of people that try to leave don't realize its 30 dollars if its over an hour. so they pull up to her booth, stare at the BIG sign with the prices on it, then look up and say "so how much is it?" she says "30 dollars" they say "what?! thats such a rip off."
the sign is there before they pull in, and at the booth.

OH God, I love that list. I once for a very brief time worked in a vet's office as the kennel manager and vet-tech assistant, I can totally relate.
