Okay, so my senior project that had previously consisted of a series of projects is now transforming completely. I haven't run it all by my professor yet but based on the suggestions I received from other faculty during the review in which they all picked us apart- cough, I mean, shared their suggestions, I've been re-thinking this project's design and functions.
So, now instead of this conversation booth and sculpture structure, I'm combining the two to create one sole audio installation. I have yet to receive answers on sound theory in pending emails, but so far I'm planning a dome and inside, the audio will be manipulated depending on how much noise is in the space (most likely when more ppl are in it) and the distance ppl are to the speakers inside. I may also just place the installation in a normal room rather than worrying about some dome thing depending on what answers I get from the ppl I'm waiting on.
And so I need to use Processing which I've avoided for like a year and it's come back to haunt me. *sigh* So by the end of the semester in May, I need to write a Processing sketch that at least does SOMEthing to show at the final review before senior year. Gah, the pressure! Where's my textbook? I don't remember anything!
And I really need an internship this summer and having a bit of a hard time. XHTML, CSS, Flash/AS3, JAVASCRIPT, and maybe some PHP- I'll do it man! Even Processing. It would help with my senior project...
