Things are changing. And despite everyones attempts to deny it, and pretend like they're not, they are, and I hate it ( Read more... )

Hey this is Renny. Whats up killer?
I know how it is with all the drama cuz it happened last year with our floor. Dont worry though, it will all settle down and things will become normal again. That winter break, changes the relationships you had first semester...although nobody really notices it until they look in retrospect. The commotion that you face now is essentially people kinda wading their way through the new roles that they take in the existing friendships. Im gonna be honest with you...Your not gonna be close with everybody like u were last semester...but the people you do become close to mean sooo much more and their friendship is amazing. Our circle of friends last year went through essentially the same commotion, and guess what...Im still friends with every single one of them.
I second that no drinking thing. You're drinking...and by you're i dont mean just you...i mean all of you...scares me. It worries me. Dont depend on drinking to have fun...you can do it without booze. You guys are some of the most fun people i know sober...and if u really need something to do when sober...make fun of the homeless...it never ever gets old

I second that notion. First and second semester are a big difference, even if they don't seem like it while they're actually happening. But the friends that I ended second semester with, although not all the same ones I ended first with, are some of my truest friends now. I hate to compare it to it, but think of it as cuts. At first everyone shows promise, but over time you see the little things that can make things better or worse, and the little conflicts become greater ones that weed the bad out. It doesn't mean all the friendships won't work; it's merely defining how deep those relationships will go.

Renny!!

I know that all of this is natural and normal..it just sucks. But luckily our friends are pretty anti-drama and i think its all going to pass by fairly quickly simply because we're all tired of it already.

Our drinking doesn't so much worry me...but i think its kinda stupid. You're right, the people here are some of my favorite people to be around sober and i think we do more reatardly funny things sober than drunk, which is why im making it my personal mission to start coming up with more alcohol free group activities.

Speaking of which....what are you doing this coming staurday night? I hear there's this really awesome pajama party goin on...

anyway, thanks so much for caring, and I misssss yoou!!!!!!! <3 <3 <3

ps. im friending you.

Im friending you back...I dont know about this saturday. My parental units are pretty P.Oed at me for this whole getting kicked out school thing. Im like their negro house slave til my grades get better. But sometime in the not so distant future, Renny will make his comeback to UMBC...and it will be grand. Women will throw their panties at his feet...so will Nick...and the throngs of people will cheer.
