Okay... back at last! Hrmm, got held up at Singapore customs for over an hour 'cos some Sri Lankan guy was trying to smuggle sth suspicious (what could it be!?!?) in, and in the end we left without him... then after that, got into a taxi where the guy heard "Sims Avenue" instead of "Sixth Avenue"... and they're quite far apart, yeah?
Anyway, KL was... pretty boring actually. Depressingly similar to Singapore. I didnt even get to swim in the hotel pool, but there was this tiny japanese place which had reaaaally fantastic ramen... mmm, food.
Right, also - had weird dreams in KL... most notably one in which i walked into studio and found everyone there, including fong - for some reason, we had just gotten an assignment that was due the very next day... and the whole studio was supposed to work together on it. Except it wasnt architecture, but an animation of some sort... Then I had a conversation with someone, (think it was lihui) about different types of cork in models of chinese junk ships... All very strange, but more importantly, WHY AM I DREAMING OF DEADLINES EVEN ON HOLIDAY???? And for more proof that architecture has invaded our brains, check
this link out...
