Hogmanay
So New Years was a blast! We celebrated Hogmanay at the apartment and asked a few people to stop by in kilts and plaid to bring in the New Year. It was hilarious to have people play “Shout” (much like scene it) piled in the living room at 10 pm. And DDR was great as I was nicely buzzed and willing to dance my heart out! We even pushed the tallest, darkest haired guy out the door (thanks Ryon!) at midnight to ensure the threshold was passed by someone who would grant the house good luck and prosperity for the new year.
Although its not all happy memories to come from this night…. Sambucca shots with fire… why is there even a need for this?! Anyway…. I wanted to try one and yes I blew it out but the shot glass was too hot and it burned me a good one. With most everyone gone and it being around 3 in the morning I sat there with ice cube after ice cube to curb the pain and swelling. Horray!
Well, really, if there wasn’t one embarrassing story it wasn’t a good party. SO there ya go.
