Title: Peace & Quiet
Author: jadeddiva
Format & Word Count: Drabble, 98
Rating: PG
Prompt: 15. Things Left Unsaid
Summary: It’s quiet but that’s maybe how it should be.
Author’s Note: Just a wee drabble. Concrit, as always, is welcome.

It’s his fingers on her hip, lips on her temple, nose in her hair; the small smile when she enters a room (the kind that actually reaches his eyes); the reverence in how he touches her with hands then mouth, quiet insistence and silent praise.

It is so different from what she’s had but exactly what she expected (and in her more sentimental moments dreams of for ever and ever). Loud shouts and exclamations have nothing on quiet kisses and words left unspoken and she never questions any of it.

This, she thinks, is how love should be.
