I've been working on the new SFH all day. It's time for an eyestrain of a different sort.
Still no new drummer for the Council. However, we do have our own domain now: www.andersoncouncil.net. No point in going there yet, as there is bupkis to look at. I need to take a week off of SFH, or get two done in a week, and spend some time getting that set up.
With Tommy on drums, his sole purpose, as I've said before, is to piss off everybody else in the band. That, and he has a tendency to make songs too fast, because he can't keep time, he merely responds to the guitar. That's what Bill Ward of Black Sabbath, my favorite band, did, but it's a problem here, because I like to add more palm mutes or strums to some songs that usually have less. Tommy thinks that I'm speeding up, which I'm not, and swears up and down that it's everybody else's fault but his. He doesn't keep time. So we're looking for someone else.
Good news though: We've got ourselves another gig lined up. Innocent Exile, whom we were supposed to play with on the 21st and then the 16th of April, invited us to play at the Rock n' Roll Club in El Paso. However, they dropped out of the gig on the 16th, as they moved to the day before. Thus, we called up Arcayus to fill in the spot. We're gonna talk to Terri tomorrow, so that we can get it cleared with her and the Joker's Pub people first.
Bad News: Something's wrong with the input jack of the computer, and I can't record. That's bad, because we've got a couple new songs we need to record and add lyrics to.
And I need to get to sleep, because I have a test tomorrow in... *sigh* computer fuckin' literacy. GOD how I hate required courses. But on a second note: FLASH DRIVES KICK ASS. That is all.
