Nanowrimo is actually going better than I planned. I’m filling in gaps and coming up with new characters that I had never anticipated. As I sit in the middle of the library they’re doing strange and horrible things, and as my fingers type their actions I mutter, “No, no! What are you doing? I just need a moment to catch my metaphorical breath. I have been trying to write non-stop today. I passed out yesterday after I made dinner at 8:30, and woke up on the couch at 10 before crawling to bed. It didn’t occur to me that I only wrote 300 words yesterday.
