Rachel and Quinn are not together. Shelby Corcoran has a car accident and dies, leaving guardianship of Beth to both Rachel and Quinn. They have to learn to get along and work together for the sake of traumatised Beth, who was in the car and witnessed her mother's death. By now, they have both established themselves in New York. Rachel is, of course, a Broadway star and I'm thinking Quinn would be an awesome pediatrician. They have to work out how to combine their households or move to a new place big enough for them all. Whether they tell Beth that Quinn is her biological mom is up to the writer.

These details can be flexible, I'm not too fussed. :P But, lots of angst and tension before they get together would be much appreciated!

Bonus points for a scene where Rachel tries to explain how/why she is dating her sister's biological mom.

Okay I totally remember writing some of that stuff in the comments over there, like the horse heads and the Quinn-ed up wall XD so how can I not third this?

Established relationship, Rachel gets gay bashed after school (by the hockey team?), Quinn has just finished Cheerios practice and either finds her unconscious and bloody, or scares off the attackers. Ambulance ride, hospital stay, lots of tears and hugs. Reasonably lengthy with good descriptions of the attack and the aftermath.

Bonus for Rachel being her usual obnoxious self as the attackers surround her, and if Santana and Brittany are with Quinn.

Rachel finds out that Quinn was molested - by her mother (Quinn's, not Shelby...yeesh.) Make it as angsty as you want, but please make it fluffy with the Faberry at the end.
