"Long ago, people lived in peace, bathed in the warmth of light. Everyone loved the light. Then people began to fight over it. They wanted the light for themselves. And darkness was born in their hearts. The darkness spread, swallowing the light and many people's hearts. It covered everything, and the world disappeared."
Long ago, the world was bathed in light. And to protect this light, people were granted mystic keys known as the Keyblade. But not just anyone. No, only those with something special in their hearts could obtain this Keyblade. And together, they guarded the border between the Realm of Light and the Realm of Darkness. Everything in the universe was at peace, and travel between the worlds was relatively free and safe.
But one day, strange creatures began to appear. They seemed human, but their blood and eyes were different. When cut, they bled inky black. Their eyes were a dangerous gold with feline slits for pupils. Worse still, they seemed to replace loved ones. The peace was beginning to break, and with it, the barrier between Light and Dark began to crack. For the first time in many years, the Grand Masters made a decision to mobilize the Keyblades to perform missions in the worlds-a guise so as not to raise panic as they discretely hunt down the new creatures.
United Worlds is a panfandom comm-based alternate universe roleplay with an eventual endgame planned. It is a Keyblade War era game, set in the universe of Kingdom Hearts. Player plots as well as overarching plot make this game run. It is about all of the events leading up to the Keyblade War as well as the Keyblade War itself.
