It's un-fucking-believable. Why would you kill such a beloved character off your show? There are SO many people who are going to drop this show come next season, what on earth was RTD thinking with this?!
I'm going to try and not believe it. Maybe they're not dead dead and there'll be a super awesome antidote? Or that kiss that Jack gave Ianto was enough life force to bring him back? *needs a fic now where Ianto wakes up as Gwen and Jack are crying over him*
I just can't imagine that they would kill of the best character (and best actor imho).
I mean when I think of Torchwood, it's his lines that I think of, just to day I'd brought them up with my mum, when going over reason why they wouldn't...do the thing they did.
The only reason I can see it happen is if this is the last Torchwood they're doing.
I'm totally with you there. I was on my way to start my homework (reading Jane Eyre for my summer class) and I was gonna open the video to let it load up. Yeah...homework was thrown to the side when I saw the episode summary say "Ianto dies in Jack's arms
( ... )
I'm so upset even this morning. It's insane how upset I get over the death of fictional characters - last time I was this saddened, though, it was for Tosh and Owen... didn't think any show was going to be more painful than that, but I was wrong, and in the same show, too. Meh.
I'm really really trying to believe that there was a reason that RTD saved Ianto not once, but twice over the fun of this show and that he wouldn't kill him off now, but RTD is an evil bastard. This has been proven. I don't know if I trust him anymore.
Ugh, is it 5 o'clock yet? (around when I can watch it here in the U.S. lol)

I'm still pissed off/crying about it 3 hours later.

I refuse to acknowledge that which didn't happen, until the closing credits of day 5.
The only reason I watch Torchwood is for Ianto.
