So! What happens when you mix one estrella30 with one brooklinegirl with a box of wine?
You get rps_advent! Our own personal version of a holiday RPS ficathon!
Now just wait. Before you start with your "Oh, I dont DO ficathons!!" thing, let me explain what this is, exactly. This is an RPS fic a day CALENDAR. Not an exchange. Not any kind of gifting process.
It is open for any actor/actress on the CW network, as well as the Six Degrees of DS Canadian actors and actresses (the same guidelines you guys use for midsummer2006 - so we're talking CKR, Paul Gross, Sandra Oh, Molly Parker, James Allodi, Don Fricking McKellar, etc.)
The way it's going to work is this:
You go join the community for rps_advent.
Next week, we will open up the schedule for the month of December. The schedule is set to have a week of kink fic prompts, a week of cliche fic prompts, a week of crackfic prompts and a week of AU fic prompts. Each DAY will have a specific prompt listed, which can be applied to either fandom, the CW or Canada RPS.
You look at the schedule, and then comment with the fic you'd like to write. We go through the comments, set up a calendar which assigns one (or two or three!!) people for a specific prompt per day, and then that's it! You have your assigment! Write your porny little heart out and when your day comes up, post the fic to the community and we will all jump and squeal and throw roses at your feet!
Please note:
This challenge is open to the CW and Canada RPS actors and actresses who fall into the listing for midsummer2006. This does not mean you have to CROSS CW and Canada actors and actresses. I mean, you CAN, everyone KNOWS you're dying for that Callum Keith Rennie/Tom Welling fic. Or how about a Hugh Dillon-Chad Michael Murray smackdown? But - seriously - there is no need to be crossing between the sectors like that.
When you volunteer for a day, you are saying you will write a fic. After we go through and make the list, you have like, a DAY to back out. If you dont back out, *you are committed* to writing a fic and posting on your said day. This isnt an exchange, but it is a community where we're looking for porny gifts every day for the entire month of December, so please, let's keep this fun for everyone!
