Doesn't Everybody Deserve an Afternoon Off?
So Tara is alive and I guess I'm getting used to people coming back from the dead. I just hope they keep being good people. I'd hate to see someone like... Wait. The evil dead come back all the time! Sure, they're usually still dead, but that never stops them! Well, I'm happy for Willow and Tara. It crushed Will when Tara died. When Willow went all black-eyed baddie because of it, it nearly crushed all of us. Literally. Escaping that disaster, it's great to see more of us good guys come back. Willow from the dark side and Tara from the dead. Us good guys deserve more breaks.
Speaking of breaks, when I agreed to take on helping with the construction of the new housing and offices for the Council, I had no idea that it meant no free time! I figured I'd be pretty darn busy, but this is ridiculous! I can't get up, work until I drop, be too exhausted even for food and then end up falling into bed and sleeping until it's time to start all over again! I need my party time. Or at least some quality time with my remote. I'm glad I have a job that I look forward to going to every day and I don't want to let anyone down... But I need my 'napping and munching on snacks while laying in front of the TV' time.
I'm not an all work and no play kind of guy. That's it! Today I'm taking the afternoon off. I don't care if I get yelled at as long as I don't get fired. At lunch time I'm taking off and not coming back until tomorrow morning. I'm gonna go back to the hotel, spend the rest of the day being a lazy bum and I don't care who knows it. Yep. In theory this works just great. I wonder if I'll get away with it in reality.
