Er... help!
Hi! Semi-experienced first-time poster here looking for advice!
I've been RPing for a few years now, mostly on forum-based sites, but recently I decided to take the plunge into a LiveJournal RP. The trouble is, it's left me somewhat confused. I was looking over one particular RP but couldn't actually make head or tails of what was going on- I'm far too used to using the basic forum method of RPing! LJ RPs all look pretty complicated to me right now. I'd love to give it a shot but I'm too worried that I'd mess up from the start or break some kind of unwritten LJ etiquette when posting.
So really, I was wondering if someone could give me the lowdown on how an LJ-based RP works: things like what a PB is, what character journals do, how the action actually happens, the mechanics of it, etc.
