The weekend of easter
On Good Friday, my mom happend to be looking out of her bedroom window. The window to her bedroom leads to our background. Anyways, as she was peering outside into the backyard, there on the red fence stood....a falcon. YEA, a falcon. Well, actually it wasnt acutally a Falcon, but this bird dervies from this type of bird. Instead it was a pigeon hawk! LOL no im not a crazy bird lover, but i do like looking at different kinds of birds, but after we seen it , we all wanted to know what type of bird it was. It was huge... lol we took some pictures of it lol. It remained stading on that fence for several minutes, mostly 15 minutes . Before doing our research on the google search engine lol, we thought it was an owl lol. Yeup little did we know it wasnt! lol. My dad busts out the Encyclopedia and checked up owls, he came across a snow owl and assumed the bird that was on the fence was this snow owl. All of us disagreed lol, because it looked nothing like the owl in the encyclopedia, PLUS it was during the day. Are'nt owls nockturnal, which means they only are awake during night. My sister proclaimed that, if this was an owl during the day, it was revealing a sign of death. Everyone started to worry, and thought who will die, lol that's when we went on the good handy dandy GOOGLE search engine and began our research. It did not happen to be an owl, everyone showed a sign of relief (just kidding lol), but a pigeon hawk.
Besides the Bird incident we went to church at 7 o clock mass. Where every year they do the station of the cross. Such a wonderful mass. The only thing that bothered me was that the priest talks to fast and when he does i cannot follow nor can i catch up with his rapid readings. But overall, it is always a nice mass.
Good ol' Saturday rolls around...and guess where i spend every saturday ? Yeup at good ol' ANP lol that's some sarcasm for u. Anyways i was suppppooose to work 1230-530, but because we were closed on good friday and we were going to be closed easter sunday, the grocery store was packeddd, so they asked me to stay until 930, which i did lol. THAT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE ! IT WAS BUSY from 1230-630 straight... that was such a tiring day. The worst part was that when i got home i was so cranky. I think it was because i hate to fake my way into a smile all day at work and not lose any patience...when i got home i just let it all out. lol.
Sunday... aka the MEAT FEST! I gave up meat for 40 days, yes because of lent. Sunday was Easter and as well the end of lent.... mmmm i stuffed my face with every kind of meat you can desire: lamb, chicken, sausages, and ham...it was delicious. My aunt also made some vegetables....but i skipped all the veggies...no thanks thats what ive been eating these last past 40 days. All i wanted was the meat ! My whole family did it, so it wasnt that bad, because everything mom cooked we ate lol. Easter was nice the whole family got together and we spent it at my aunts house...the house was packed with cousins, aunts, uncles, and family friends... My aunt, uncle, and cousins from toronto came down this easter, well actually they come down every easter to celebrate with us. It was nice to see them again. After our dinner, we soon had dessert and coffee right after, it wasnt until 11 o clock when we decided to go home. Ugh, it sucked that the next day we had school. I was so mad that we never get easter monday off and every year, yes every year i always think we do, until the prof says SEE U MONDAY MORNING :(
Monday rolls around and joe and I watch The Godfather, why because apparently I have never seen any of the Godfather movies. I know, I know, shame on me. Apparently though i have seen a little bit of the first one...lol as i was watching it, it brought back a recollection of memories from the time i did watch it. Joe will now have to show me the 2nd one... lol . He's such a great guy .
Okay, its 4am and i have class at 1. Im just kinda waiting for my paper to dry. Yea im trying to make old paper, you know with the tea bag, trying to give it that antique look. From here, it looks good, but im kinda far to where the paper is lying lol. So that mean si have to get off my lazy ass walk over and see if my creativity is shown in this peice of artwork lol.
