/Lelouch!/ Then I'll give you a reason

I’m reading the first Code Geass novel. I didn’t get very far last time, and it was a while ago, so I just started over! I just finished STAGE-0:1 - Previous Night. Lelouch and Suzaku defeated the men whom were sent to assassinate the little Britannians. It was so amazing. So YOSHAAAA! and Sugei~ sugei~! and inspiring! An epic moment, certainly, definitely so! I smiled whole-heartedly. Grinned. You two…outstanding people.
At the end of that chapter are a few simple lines.
And here, we will return to the present.
Of course, the pilgrimage to their past is not over yet.
There was a time when the two didn’t know each other.
A time when they could not accept one another.
But still.
It was inevitable for them to meet, and to develop a bond.
I can assert that.
I declare this as the one who is known as the witch.
C.C.! She’s the narrator! It’s soooo exciting! Just like in Death Note: Another Note, it’s so fun and amazing to actually know the narrator! To be able to put a name, face, and voice to the narrations. Mello wrote Another Note, as I figured before he told us. Really, it was obvious. Who would look up to that someone? Not Near in the same way, and he speaks differently. L doesn’t talk in the third person. Raito’s insane. Matt…unlikely. So.
C.C. wrote it~ C.C. wrote it…! I feel so much closer to the Code Geass world! I don’t mind that the novels aren’t canon. I still love them to bits. I hope they translate every single one, or God help them they’re gettin’ their asses whooped!
Yeah, this would be an omnipotent narrator, I think. C.C. knows eeeeeeeeverythiiiiiiiing.
If the novels aren’t canon though, then what really happened? I don’t recall the episode… I mean, I remember the OVA. Little Suzaku and Lelouch were climbing in a grassy, peaceful area. Lelouch barely clambered up a child-sized cliff; Suzaku laughed, and C.C. was watching. Observing. How long has she observed the world? I don’t recall her ever revealing why her wish is to die. Wait. Maybe it was to live…? Or…be protected? Wait. Maybe it had something to do with pizza. AH! I remember! It was for her to be happy. So Pizza Hut was part of the contract. L-lulululul I just wanna get the season box sets. And the manga. And the novels. And aren’t there games…? I missed too muuuch. And really, the dub is good.
I wonder for how long C.C. has been watching him. Since his birth? Was C.C. still even in that Geass order thing when Lelouch was small? I think it was a long while since she left them… ;ljds I don’t remember. Mhgie; It doesn’t matter I guess. I’ll watch it all some day. Soon. But box sets are so expensive… and I don’t re-watch anime often. Plus, I just spent $40 on a bunch of books. Harry Potter~
I’m not really all that athletic, either. But maybe I have a mind close to Lelouch’s level! Everyone is good at something. I hate politics, but I can lie through my teeth and be strategically polite and hospitable if it’s necessary. I need to be intelligent if I’m gonna be the best detective. And I AM!
