Nerves
There's finally movement on the job front. I was told yesterday that the job would be posted today. This morning, I logged onto the system and sure enough, it was. After carefully reading the posting wow, this is really specific and detailed... they wrote this so I would fit it? Wow. They must really like me. and riding the nerves for a bit holy shit holy shit holy shit , I clicked "submit." here we go. The job will be posted for a week, then there will be interviewing of all qualified candidates. Here's hoping that I stand out and get the job offer.
Rest of my life is going quite well. There's a light at the end of the financial woes tunnel as finaid will be arriving early next week. I start class next weekend, but it promises to be brain-numbing. Cataloging. space4rnt informed me that she fell asleep 9 pages into the required text. Oyg. That does not bode well. I'm looking forward to getting back into school, in spite of the cataloging. The break has been nice, but it's time to be cerebral again. Life with P... well... let's just say I'm very happy (and I'm pretty sure she is as well). We're planning a getaway the last weekend of January. Hopefully it will not only be a mini-vacation but also a celebration of my new job.
Nerves about the job are making me a bit jittery. I have a feeling I'll be this way for the next couple of weeks, especially as people being interviewed for the job come in. ...and I just realized that I'm going to have to greet people being interviewed for my job. Eew. That's kinda icky.
