Holiday info!!!
Right so im back!! and while its great to be back part of me wants to be back in austraila!!! but then again who wouldnt want to be???
got there sunday evening of the 11th and had a nice relaxing evening - my cousins, his wife-to-be, daughter and best mate were there, which was nice as wasnt really expecting anyone to be there as soon as we arrived. the first week was manic as wasnt sure if my mum and dad were going to make it out, as mum had her operation on the sunday (they didnt in the end, she wasnt allowed to fly becasue of the op and the cast she has had to have). so once we knew they werent coming, things settled down abit more. got more into holiday mode and enjoyed every second of it. was great to catch up with my family again - missed them so much. but also my cousins friends who id met while out there last time. there were also the new ones that hadnt met, but they were all great and got on straight away.
the wedding was fantastic!!! everything was so well done - excpet for there being a protest on the day of the wedding in the city casuing chaos when the limo driver when to pick the bride up - traffic meant the wedding was an hour late!!! :( not the best start but everything went well from then.
the place of the ceremony was so matt and jo - simple but stunning, just like jo's dress - she looked fantastic. even the lads scrubbed up well :lol: suits and all - they looked liked the mafia!!! but they did look good.
the reception set the evening off too - in the city of perth and was decorated in a style that matched the ceremony. had such a laugh and yes i did end up on the dance floor once id finished filming the speeches, first dance, etc. in fact after that spent most of the night on the dancefloor - and yes i did behave!!! :)
second week - did abit more sightseeing. went on teh perth to freemantle cruise up the swan river - fantastic, visited teh swan bells and kings park - great to go back there too. had a 'young adults' evening on the weds as the aunts and uncles went out for dinner, so we had a bbq and pool party - now that was fun!! more mischief! thursday would have been our grandad's 80th birthday so went out for a nice meal and on our last night (friday) we went to the Bruswood casino - amazing!! the place is huge and had a good time - my cousin's mate came too - so that was a laugh.
Saturday - really wasnt ready to leave. had visits from a few people again, which was nice as got to say goodbye to them as they were the ones im closest too. got back to the uk on sunday afternoon only to find out that both man u and reading had lost - what were u doing boys?? sleeping!! they better have their bums in gear by saturday - so hyped up for the game!!!! god ive missed it!!!
but seriously glad to be back, but missing them all like mad over there. mum is on the mend but its going to be along road to recovery. hopefully heading out there again next yr and cant wait!!! until then they will have to talk to me via text and email!! the wonders of technology!!!
