Long gets his first international goal!!!1
What a few days for the Irish boys of Reading FC!! First of all, Doyle gets his third goal on thursday, while Hunt and Bennett win their first starts for their country and then yesterday Shane Long got his first international goal in the 1-1 draw in Boston!!!! Was a great goal as well, another header :lol:
Congratulations Shane!! the first of many i hope!!!
Doyle and Hunt also played their part again, coming on as subs and Doyle went close on a couple of occassions :)
Also congraulations to former Reading player Sammy Igoe, who not only scored in the league 2 play-off final on saturday, but will also be playing league 1 football again next season, after Bristol Rovers won!!!
So its been a fantastic week for Reading FC players both past and present this week :)
