Yesterday we had a day off from work due to a forced closure day, and I took extreme advantage of it. Went with my cousin Becky, my mom, my sister Rosie and her boyfriend, Daniel, to the fine arts center and taught some of them how to throw. I glazed some cups that I had had since....drumroll.....2005. Yeeeesh. Time to get going on those. I threw a few flower pots - I really do want flower pots, but I felt like such a dork making such a cliche item. The only thing that could have been worse would have been an ash tray with a flowered handle. :P

After that, we went for lunch at Cha for Tea and yogurtland. Becky and I went to her apartment for a while, then took the magical 22 freeway to mine, where we watched The Big Bang theory and I worked on my alaska cross stitch. Then Clark came over and we went to the Lightbulb Mouth Radio Hour - which was impressive, as usual. It's what makes me write poetry these days.

Had a strange taco bell adventure involving a rogue cupcake and a futuristic drive-thru, then I failed to get a 250,000 grant, and then I watched Sons of Anarchy til 4am, woke up at 6:45 for work, and here I am, one subway-salad later.

So I'm exhausted. And I didn't take a shower this morning so I feel icky. My plan is to survive my workday, take Juno for a run, do laundry, and then cross stitch some more. I need to do the Things that Must Get Done before I sit down, or it's all over.
