ok. i found this paper full of website addresses in an old purse today. i remember writing them down at borders from the back of this "alternative" magazine. whatever that means. in the back of the magazine, there ads for clothing, jewelry, etc, and i wrote down the addresses. i guess because i liked what was in the ad? so. if you online shop. (i don't really, but i was curious to see what was at the sites) go here to find:
*an online thrift store - www.plaidponyvintage.com
*reworked, one of a kind jewelry - www.naughtysecretaryclub.com
*hand embroidered tees/hoodies - www.saltlicknyc.com (send them a pic and they can customize a tee for you!)
*upcoming designer eveything - www.bussbuss.com (special discount codes on most items; plus, its a link to some of the best new designers! india romeo is fantastic)
*crafty, handmade accessories, clothing, aprons, whatever - www.peppermint.net
*anything from clothing to lingerie to beauty products, all made by independent designers - www.snazzygirl.com
*cute tees and camis by a designer out of new york - www.suppermaggie.com
if anyone checks them out and likes it, tell me. i think they're super fun. and i put them up so i can throw away this paper and still remember them. i mean, i like to share:)
update: i just found out that body shop is was recently sold to l'oreal. partially owned by nestle. and the reason i shop body shop is because its against animal testing and blah blah blah. well. l'oreal and nestle are pretty much the devil. now i'm not sure if i want to shop there anymore. just after i bought $50+ worth of stuff from them. ugh. if you want to know more about companies against animal testing, visit www.aavs.org.
