What can I say about this writer! They've been in fandom for some time now, and written so many brilliant stories--in the top tier of spn writers, in my book. If you love sharp, clear, beautiful writing by someone who understands the craft of writing, this is your fic!
For me, one of their strengths is the way they take a familiar trope and look at it a different way. Like this, a kinda sorta but-not-quite Mobster!Dean vs Good-Guy Lawyer!Sam story. What do I mean? You'll have to read this excellently paced, well-written and Boy Howdy, *steamy*, fic to find out! Y'all can thank me later. ;)

I loved this story, found it exciting, enraging, (Sam can be awful when he wants to be) and fascinating!
I'm an awful angst hoor so I loved the distance and enmity between the brothers at first, mostly because it was plain to see that Dean still felt for Sam and Sam was pushing himself as hard as he could in the opposite direction of his brother. Nothing is more satisfying than to see them slowly make their way back to each other, Sam coming to realize that practically-Mafioso-Dean was really just his brother all along--the guy he loved with all his heart.
