Summary: Jared was the youngest in the High-Born Padalecki House, whose wealth came from raising livestock and producing high quality cloth and textiles. The Padalecki Household also owned and trained slaves that are called sen in this society, and their names reflect their status. Jared managed, trained, and worked alongside the sen he owned, which ranged from Drones to Pleasure sen. He was also a gifted inventor. As a High-Born and heir, he was entitled to his own Tending sen, a valet, who served, assisted, and tended his daily needs.

I loved this story. If you enjoy worldbuilding, this is for you. In this fandom, we're blessed to have some magnificent worldbuilders, people who can pull you out of your chair and throw you into an entirely new universe. I don't want to use too much of my comment because I don't want to give the story away, but this is just a little teaser for you: You know how angry I was at the outset, not really sure if I cared much for the son of slave holders. He seemed unbothered by what was all around him--and he was, until it hit him personally.
