Anyway, I had a good day at work today. I had my monthly meeting with my supervisor and she said I'm doing excellent. I will be hitting goal this month and will probably have a big paycheck come December 15th. I asked her about getting moved up (kind of like promoted, but no hourly pay increase, just opportunity to make more in incentive), and she said she would happily move me up to Pre-midrange. It's working accounts that are 3 and 4 cycles delinquent. I will basically be skip tracing (looking for people, new numbers, calling relatives and neighbors. basically tracking them down and demanding payment.), which I like to do now in front end. I will get my own set of accounts to work for the month. She is going to recommend it to our manager, Al. She said its basically a yes, but he might want me to stay in front end for another month or two until they hire some more people, but after that I should be able to move up. It would be really nice to move up starting this Wed, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. My roommate Shannon works in Pre-mid right now, but she is moving up to Midrange (4 and 5 cycles del.) on Wed. She's practically taught me everything I know about collecting, especially how to be very aggressive. Hey, I may be a bitch on the phone but I get payments and I'm professional. I love that job.
The girls and I are going to Daytona Beach for Spring Break this year. I'm so excited, because I have never really been anywhere for my SB and it's my last one. I've spent most of my night looking up Hotels online. It's gonna be one hell of a fun week! I hope its hot down there when we go, because its the beginning of March. Oh well, anything's better than Michigan.
Finals are next week and I'm really excited for this semester to be over. I can't wait to just concentrate on Christmas and working and having fun for a few weeks. It's going to be so nice not to have to wake up for an 8am every day. My parents are getting a new Christmas Tree, so they gave me their old one, which is about 8 feet tall and probably 5 feet wide. It will probably fill up our entire living room. I can't wait to put it up, lol.
