BEGMAN:
The Lovelace family portfolio contains vast lands east of Carcil, as well as some of the desert in East Begma itself...land that no one wanted turned out to be a good source of income for the sand itself, which is useful for PROGRESS.

Armond and Imar are both available, as are various yet-to-be-determined family (pitch me an idea), not to mention folks from Carcil or the Lovelace lands themselves! (The Duke lives away from Begma, in Exile, so Annaroxiel manages the holdings in preperation for one day being Duchess.)
ALHAMBRAN:
The Al'Hazzared family (with one or two z's) is an old family of mapmakers, wanders, explorers, and starcharters. A blend of bedouin and city folk, they are known for the beauty and detail of their craft, their stealth and observation, as well a survival tricks in the wilds. The are, essentially, noble bedouins. The family crest is The Night Always Comes, which means that if you get lost, you can always find your way again.
Available characters: Roxy's grandmother, Imar, who is essetially like Olivia from I Claudius (without the desire for her offspring to rule all), and Al-Joab, Roxy's uncle and mentor ( http://pics.livejournal.com/roxy_lovelace/gallery/00002s5w )
