i was so deadset on making cream of mushroom soup for dinner last night that i went to the grocery store and spent $7 on mushrooms alone. that is quite the financial commitment to fungi, eh? but it was worth it. the recipe was so simple, and yet so delicious. probably the best cream of mushroom soup i've ever had. this may or may not have ( Read more... )

Yeah, I gathered! How much soup did you make?

I tend not to put mushrooms in soup. They get too soft. Except straw mushrooms. Mmm, mushrooms.

i made enough to serve 4. it called for about 4 cups of mushrooms. that is a lot of effing mushrooms!
