how are you my little duck?
i have just finished up my work-friendly version of a holiday feast: a vanilla snowflake chai and a cranberry granola bar. it does not really compare to heathertea's feast of multiple pies, but it will suffice for now.
for all of my complaining about others' not updating today, you'd think i'd get off my ass and write one myself (actually, get ON my ass, in my office chair, in order to type an entry out). so here i am! i've got nothing substantive to say. you know what that means:
A LIST!
- at lunch, i picked up one of those "idiots guides". it is the idiot's guide to learning french. ooh la la. comment ca va mon petit canard?
- tonight when i get home from work i get to frost a cake! that is my favourite part of making a cake.
- we are also going out for dinner or ordering in. i have no cravings, though.
- then we are going to a bar near the U of T campus. i will get to feel like i'm 19 again. that is not a good thing.
- i hope Snugs is feeling ok
- i really want to watch the Strangers With Candy movie! maybe Sunday?
- i also want to see that new romantic comedy, The Holiday, or whatever it's called with Kate Winslet and Jack Black. i am sure i could get TSM to see it with me, as he's such a movie lover that he'll pretty much go to anything, but i think this sort of film is best seen with a group of ladies who can truly appreciate the romance with the comedy with the holiday-themed mise en scene. yeah, that's right: mise en scene. and you thought i was just a pretty face!
- i get to see bubba tomorrow.
i think that's all i've got left in me. i hope upon hope that you have a great friday night, and weekend all around! with my weekend plans of laziness + carrot cake, i am sure i will be around here...lurking like the lj hot-stalker that i am.
