i thought i'd regret skipping yoga last night, but i totally don't. with tacos and the Da Vinci Code, it felt like a saturday night (here you get a glimpse of just how wild and crazy my saturday nights usually are). i liked the Da Vinci Code a lot. i had heard mixed reviews, but it kept me captivated. i own the book (the illustrated version. jealous?) but never got through it all because i don't like Dan Brown's writing style. but the story itself is fascinating! it made me want to read national geographic and become an archeologist or religious scholar or something. it also made me want to style my hair like tom hanks. what was going on with that, btw?
then it was fun to go to bed with TSM and Snugs at the same time, although Snugs was hogging all of my foot space and TSM wouldn't let me move her. it took me so long to fall asleep because of this! the things i do for that cat.
today is grey and gloomy and is pretty much the epitome of November. it is not bringing me down though because:
1. i do not have a window in my office/mailroom. finally! my low stature in this office pays off!
2. today is thursday, which means, well, you know what this means.
3. i am making vegan carrot bisque tonight for dinner. it calls for coconut milk. that is insanely exotic to me. i am also making blueberry scones with blueberries i've had frozen in my freezer since august. haven't made scones in a while. IT IS DEFINITELY TIME.
4. this weekend is the craft bazaar and i'm so excited to not sell any of my 36 dishcloths. i really have very low expectations about my selling potential. i am just excited to spend time with friends all day.
QUESTION TO AMERICAN FRIENDS. YES. ANOTHER ONE: do you guys have red rose orange pekoe tea?
