is it time to go home yet? according to the clock on my phone, i've got 56 minutes until 5:00. according to my computer, i've got 51 minutes until 5:00. there is no doubt as to what clock i will be obeying (indeed, i am a slave to the clock).

have spent this afternoon devoid of coffee and i am feeling it. i am impatient and tired. since the office is pretty much closed right now, i didn't want to make my other, lone coworker watch the phones while i nipped out for some (nip out? dirty). besides, i am comfy in my little cubicle here. all i need is a cardigan sweater AND A CUP OF COFFEE.

tonight we are going out for dinner at Lime, which serves "pan asian cuisine". i am not exactly sure what that means, but as long as they have green curry, it will more than suffice. then we'll hopefully be able to rent Friends with Money,, because i never got a chance to see it at the theatre. i really liked Lovely and Amazing, and it's the same director and, i think, the same gist. the latest issue of Bitch makes a comparison of them by saying "both female-ensemble movies feature one character with explosively unresolved anger". sounds perfect! and, yes, i have my issue of Bitch on the desk with me. it keeps me inspired to fight against The Man all the while working for The Man.

the rest of the long weekend is a bit of an unwritten book. tomorrow i have no plans. not one objective to achieve! it is supposed to be cold and rainy, so i am thinking it will run something along the lines of:
- sleep in
- hang out with Snugs on the balcony
- buy globe and mail
- read it and drink coffee
- go on internet. question self as to why on internet when not at work.
- bake something. i've got a lot of rotten bananas in the freezer. i could make muffins, or a loaf. rainy days scream "loaf".
- go for a walk
- shop a bit?
- the latest Psychology Today's cover article is about the Buddhist mind. maybe i will pick this up. have a newfound interest in psychology. am thinking that if i had to do university over again, perhaps would major in psychology?
- make elaborate dinner. bonus points if i can incorporate the phyllo pastry i've had sitting in my freezer since Christmas.
- ultimately get melancholy in the evening for having spent the entire day in a listless and unorganized manner

anyway, sunday we are off to TSM's parents to meet BUBBA. oh man. get ready for pictures of a 12 week old bull dog puppy. kari, you may want to avert your eyes.

then monday is all about not doing anything laborious. i think i can handle that.

have a great weekend, hotnesses. relax, eat pumpkin products, and try not to do anything laborious!

weekend, wild craziness, food, movies, lists, bubba!, magazines
