My ratatouille came out ok last night, but it wasn't as good as I had hoped. There wasn't a lot of flavour, but it was insanely healthy. The healthiness was almost immediately counteracted by the galaxy bar I had for dessert. C'est la vie.

I really enjoyed television last night (unlike the ratatouille, it had lots of flavour). BB7 was predictable, although I am curious to see who Erika will nominate for eviction. The Office was great as always. I had never seen the episode where Michael spills Jim's crush on Pam to the office. The scene in Hooters where he ordered the chicken breast sandwich without the chicken was enjoyably painful to watch. Plus the entire episode had lots of scenes with Jim. I, of course, have no problem with that.

September 12th is when Season 2 comes out on DVD. Can I wait for Christmas or must I have it on September 12th? Only time will tell.

It is really cool out today. Not only am I wearing jeans (which are depressingly tight, but we are not going to get into that right now), but I needed a jacket this morning, too. Is the advent of Fall already here? As much as I love Autumn (Three words: Pumpkin Baked Goods)(Eight Words: And You Wonder Why Your Pants are Tight?), I'd like a few more warm weekends for summertime frolicking.

Tonight we are taking it easy, y'know, for a change of pace. We have a 2 lb. chicago-style pizza in our freezer that we are anxious to try out (Its biggest selling point was that it weighs 2 lbs.), and we still haven't watched the Criterion edition of Dazed and Confused I got TSM for his birthday. How can a Friday night possibly fail when you've got a swaggering, bell-bottom-wearing Matthew McConaughey say in his sexy Texan drawl (I am paraphrasing here): "I keep getting older and the girls stay the same age".

moment of silence.

Tomorrow we're off to St. Catharines to visit family/pet the cats/wreak havoc/do laundry, and then at night it's off to vanessa's for a campfire. I hope the weather warms up for tomorrow night. It would be a pity to freeze our balls off in August.

I have leftover ratatouille for lunch but no galaxy bar for dessert. That depresses me, but not as much as my tight pants do.
