we arrive safely and soundly in Prague. immediately, i feel the OPPRESIVE HEAT in that metal tunnel thingy you walk through from the plane to the airport. but at this point, i am just excited to be in Prague. this is the view across the street from our hostel room:

after settling in, we went for dinner at Radost and had one of the best meals we'd have the entire trip. as we left, it started raining and the sky was lit up perfectly. here i am. you may think those are raindrops on my shirt, but it is probably drool, a byproduct of my amazing spinach veggie burger.
we came upon Wenceslas square and Old Town and this is where my heart started palpitating. the city looked magical at dusk. this is Old Town Square:

the next day, we did a very long, very draining walking tour of the main part of the city. it eventually led to Prague Castle, which is uphill and overlooking the city. This is the view from it:
we also visited the National Museum, which is dedicated more to archaelogy, zoology and evolution then to artwork. here, vanessa firmly defines where she belongs in the timeline of evolution. look at that confidence in her status as a homo sapien!
but me? well, i was a bit confused as to where i should be placed...
