magazines
it was a good lunch for magazines.
that doesn't really make sense, but i mean that during my lunch break, i was able to score a couple of good magazines. first i went to the library to browse and came across Marie Claire. ever since youngspinster mentioned that it's her favourite glossy, i am starting to read it more (yes, i am so easily swayed). it is like Glamour in that it seems to try to have "worldly" articles that aren't just about fashion and make-up. i really wished i could have checked out the most recent issue, but they don't let that leave the library until the middle of june, so i settled for a march 2005 issue. that should suffice.
after going to the bank, i went to a magazine shop just to see what's out. i figured i wouldn't find anything good because it's too early for the July's to be out, but lo and behold, right there before my eyes was the new Bitch. when a magazine only comes out four times a year, you really appreciate the sight of a new issue on the stands. since it's one of my very favourites, i bought it immediately.
what with my frozen pizza and not-as-fatty-but-still-quite-fatty salad AND the premiere of Canada's Next Top Model, i am going to have quite the entertaining evening. jealous?
