New Years!
Happy New Years Everyone!!
New Years in Sydney was AMAZING. Thats right capitalized.
We went out to the boat around 2 pm. We had a picnic and made our way to Sydney Harbor. There were about 20,000 boats on the water. It was absolute chaos. Thankfully my uncle mich is a world class yachtsman. He's actually raced ships all over the world. Its pretty cool actually. All the boats were colliding. It was kind of nuts. Everyone was pretty tipsy too. They have water police, a water riot police crew and a boat to put out fires in other boats. Pretty crazy actually.
Sydney is gorgeuos. Its actually devided in half by the Sydney Harbor Bridge. That is where the fireworks where. Well the center point anyways. There were fireworks that came shooting off of the bridge and from four ferrys all around the harbor. They fireworks were absolutely amazing. It was one of the most amazing nights ever. My cousins are so cute too. The little one em was a bit afraid of the fireworks, but got into it in the end.
It was overall a spectacular night. We slept on the boat that night and came back to the house early in the morning. Its about 42 degres C here. Thats about 112. Its HOTT. hehe. Too hot to be outside actually. We went swimming for about an hour, but thats really it. We're hiding inside in the AC. Its going to be around 80 degrees tomorrow, which is perfect!! We are going to check out sydney tomorrow. I can't wait!!
My uncles mom died early this mornign after the fireworks. It was a bit sad, but more of a good thing i think. She had stopped eating about a week earlier, so i guess this means she is in a much better place. It also means my travel plans might get all horsed up. So we shall see. As it stands now we were going to the gold coast on thursday, but the funeral might be then. We shall see how everything works out.
Ah well i guess i should get going and play with my cousins.
