CARIBANA PARTY TIME!!!
Caribana weekend was fun as usual. Went down to the parade with the family, went through a mission and a half to meet up with Saudia. I then went back to her place and we got ready to go out. The night was fun. Her sister dropped me off at the COTAB party that my dad runs. After his party was finished, on the way home, I was telling my dad about Guverment and the drinks I had and all that jazz. My mom was interested in my escapades when I came home 6 in the morning. The way we were talking was so free and open and it seemed that they totally trusted me. I guess the back to my halter dress was a lil low cuz my mom saw my tattoo and flipped. All that trust that had been building since I moved out was shot down in those few seconds. Both parents were pissed but I think things are smoothed over now. My mom actually asked to see my tattoo again and commented on how nice it was...progress, I think.
But that incident doesn't overshadow the fun I had that night. I felt so groggy today at work. I dunno why I agreed to work full day. The lure of getting paid time and a half trapped me into working which is a move I regret. Berk, Tyrone, Jamar, Adrian and some other of Berk's friends were going to this party and I totally missed it cuz I was at work and couldn't get a ride there :'(
