Hello, strawberries.
How are you all?
I'm head over heals in work at the moment. Right now I'm taking a small brake though, or my brain will stop working properly.
Met my editor last Monday and he gave me the half of my upcoming book manuscript back. I must say that my editor- Aldis, is a great person! He helped me a lot, gave me some writing tips and I went home from this meeting feeling very inspired and happy.
I've almost finished re-reading my novel with editors comments, trust me, it is not an easy thing to do. At least for me it was not that easy, because I had to get used to editors writing and his signs, I must say that he used quite a lot of different signs while correcting my mistakes, but after reading the first three chapters of the manuscript I got the major idea of how he uses those signs and now it is much easier to read my story.
Actually, I've got only 4 chapters to finish and then I will be done with the first half of the story. But that is only the first step. Then I will have to read through the other half of the story and then re-write some parts of it, before the final version goes back to the publisher.
Basically- my mind is filled with my upcoming book at the moment and there is no time for doing anything else, actually. So, I'm taking a brake from singing and just concentrating on the things I need to do as soon as possible.
The publishing company said that they want to publish my novel on May this year. That is so freaking fast! I didn't think this is going to be so fast! I'm really happy about it.
After my book will hit the shelves of bookstores in all the country, I'm going back to singing and continuing "The Lighthouse for broken hearts", that is my second novel I want to finish and, hopefully, publish too.
Actually, I've got so many ideas for stories. I've got around 16 folders where I've gathered bits and pieces of info about the ideas I've had in all the time I've been writing something. And I really want to write each and every story some day.
And now I'm sure I will!
Have a very nice week, little strawberries.
