Fighting with tofu.

Hello, dear kitties.

How are you? I really hope you are not ill and doing well.

Decided that this will be a blogging night. Already made an entry in our literary forums blog. I wrote about a book I read a week ago. It is a work by Natalie Goldberg. It is called "Writing down the bones." In this book there are many great advises for the new writers. Lots of them I already knew or have heard before. Some of them I came up with during the process of writing myself. The advises are really great, you should all read the book. In this work there is a chapter that is called "fighting with tofu". In this chapter the writer talks about how hard it is usually to go and write, while two sides of you- the inner dictator and the indecisive one are fighting each other. Her advice is to make these two sides of you alive on the paper. When you give them actual space their fight seems silly and annoying, and then, when you had enough of their talk on the paper, you can actually write something.

So, here is some up to date information about me. Wait, before I say anything, I've got to take my cat down from my table, he is disturbing me again...
And I'm back! ^_^

The publisher Zvaigzne ABC send me an e-mail telling that I should call them to set up a date for a meeting in their office. I should read and leave my signature on the contract they've prepared for me. I'm so exited about this! I will be there for the second time. Actually, the first time I went to that office was when I send in my work. I wasn't supposed to go there, but I was so worried and then the guard let me in. That day I was really thankful to him. ^_^
I want to hold my own book in my hands so badly! But I still don't know how fast will the editing and printing process be.

While I think about these kind of things, I continue working on my new novel. "The Lighthouse for broken hearts". So far I've almost finished re-writing chapter two. I've posted some of in in our writers forum and seems like people actually like it. I'm so happy about that. ^_^

How about your writing? How is it going lately? I wish you a lot of inspiration!

I'm off to continue working on my novel. Have a nice evening/morning/day!
