Cho bit her lip, fingers twisting in the end of her hair. She'd been more excited about this whole thing on Sunday, when times were happier, and not at all scary. On Sunday she'd felt triumphant and bouncy and a little on top of the world. Now her little Frankenstein container just looked silly. Still, it was a jar of nothing, and Kale so wanted to prove that this was possible. There was also a tiny little niggling hateful voice telling her that, if he waited too long to figure it out, he might not actually get the chance. God, she hated this place.
