Extremely early in the morning on Monday, before dawn, the majority of River Royal's army moves out.
The entire city is emptied of all most the most plodding of packhorses. Every soldier that can be on horseback is - including nearly all of the majiks - and the rest depart the city at a fast march.
Royal and Nazarene can be observed leaving; Royal rides at the head of the troops, Nazarene at the rear.
Niko is among the majiks on horseback; so is Kale, and Markon is leading a horse carrying his armor.
Any of them can be flagged down for a brief conversation.
The army clears out of the city surprisingly fast, and with relatively little noise, besides some minor cheering and encouragement from the army hangers-on that are awake that early. By four AM, only a skeleton crew of the demon military is left in the city.

On waking up, Cho finds a note under her door, handwritten.
Cho:
I left with the army last night. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine, though I'll miss your cooking.
- Niko
And there's a small symbol just below his name, which Cho can identify as being vaguely reminiscent of the symbol of revealing. There's an arrow to the symbol and the word 'activate'. If either she or Hood activates the symbol, this also appears:
Nice job!
Hey, and don't post about this on the journals. I don't think they're secure. Hopefully I'll see you in a few days.
Also revealed, penned below, are instructions on how to cast this sort of hidden-ink spell. Also mentioned is that she can show Hood if she wants to.
