Unfortunately, the yellow fox was so lost in thought on the circumstances of the city and its people that he'd stopped paying attention to where he was going...the curse of being a braincase...and quite predictably bumped into someone from behind. Quickly he stepped backwards, glad he'd been walking slowly. "I'm sorry, I guess I wasn't watching where I was going..."

She blushed, and mumbled something about heading back to work.
Once she was gone, Royal nodded to Tails that they should walk, down the city street. "Today I'm on walkabout," he told Tails. "I like to know what's going on everywhere in the people I lead."

Placing his hands behind his head he turned his gaze skyward. "Looking after the well-being of others I mean. It really takes a lot of responsibility?" Not that he didn't know, it was just conversation.

At Royal's question, Tails shrugged. "It's only really the first day, but I found someone I know here already." That had made the first night much easier n him.

Truth be told, he wasn't sure it would make them easier to recruit or harder. But better to show joy about it than not.
"I'm not sure many others came through directly from the same world," he said. "Actually, I'm not sure about much about the tree. Not really an expert in mysticism."
