People who use the phrase "In my own humble opinion" make me shudder
"In my own opinion" fine. Your just stating that it is your opinion, no problem
"In my humble opinion" sets my teeth on edge (you are telling me your humble... does that sound like humility to you?) but I can deal...
"In my own humble opinion" in this case all 'humble' can come across as is you telling me that "I should pay attention to you because your so humble, yo!"
Also I have never met a person who used it who was actually humble...
