You stand around in a corner with 80 or 90 people from your neighborhood. Someone tells you to count off and then people tell you just how stupid you are for wanting that person. This goes on for 20 minutes and then they recount. Then they ask for delegates and silly people like my hubby say "Yes yes, please let me waste my saturday off going to the state convention...... Then they decide if they want to do things like make Coca-cola the official drink of the election in Iowa j/k :Pand if we all want to make sure that any prisoners of war be treated by the regulations set forth in the Geneava Convention and we all say "AYE" I really wanted to say "ARGGGGGGG" instead but I sort of figured out that my husband would be embarassed or something.....

Then they do it all again. It is an antiquated system. We should just have a primary, but damn for one day every 3 years and 363 days, the whole US watches Iowa. The rest of the time, no one remembers that we are a state.
