Caucusing for Obama

Tonight Steve and I did our Civil duty and went to our caucuses to participate. This was Steve's fifth and he volunteered to be a delegate. I think it was a good thing to do, however there were no chairs as this was a poorly planned event. (Also the doors were all locked except for the main doors of the school and we walked around - I had already fallen under the car once today so it was icy and dangerous.) We met quite a few people from our area and it was great to talk to them. I hope to see them again this Spring and Summer. We had 72 people there for Obama - 4 delegates for him - Clinton got two and Edwards got two. Biden's people were sort of left hanging because he dropped out later that night. We did not have votes for anyone else there. It was sort of like a rally because the Obama people from two precincts were cheering so loudly that none of the other ones could - but then the Edwards people were just total dicks - they only had like 16 people total and they were just screaming stupid stuff. I was so tired from just standing around....

I heard from my doctor on my chest x-ray and she either thinks that there may be a small amount of pneumonia left, or it could be scarring and she wants me to get another chest xray or to report directly to her if I start to feel bad. I may be paying for going out too soon. I am more than a little worried after we walked all the way around the school in 10 degree weather. When I got home, I took my meds and crashed to watch the results. Steve was hoping that it would be 1) Obama 2) Edwards and 3) Hillary. He was right :)
