Hi everybody

Started really working on my next student film project in my Screen Directing class this week. On Wednesday I had auditions (along with the half of the class that had not held them the previous week) and I had a pretty good turn out for my show. I quickly found a female actress who was very good and fit the look I was going for, and I knew I had a great guy, though the problem with him is that everyone else wanted him as well. Thankfully he said he was very available and that he was open to doing multiple shows, so I was able to get him.
Actually, he had also auditioned the week before for the other half of the classes films, and without consulting the professor a group went ahead and cast him in their film. There is one girl in that group that I actually don't care for and I wouldn't put it past her to have done that on purpose to make sure no one else would get him. But I still ended up getting him as well so it all worked out in the end.
So we are filming on the 22nd, at my apartment. I am nervous, but excited. Nervous because I am all on my own doing the directing and camera stuff (thought Kit said that he would help me out) and that I will mess up, and that it will take too long (these people are volunteering their time essentially, though I will buy them pizza and give them a digital copy of the film). I just really want it to turn out well, and I am not the most experienced editor in the world. I just hope that I can do something that my actors like.
